In short

• No account needed: the whole Move → unlock loop runs on your iPhone.
• Screen Time selections and system app names never leave your iPhone; the labels you give your guarded apps (for example “Instagram”) sync only if you turn sync on.
• No ads, no ad tracking, no data sold. MiniMove does not use Apple's advertising identifier.
• Apple Health data is never synced to our servers, never sent to third parties, never used for ads.
• You can export or delete your data at any time.

What stays on your iPhone

MiniMove keeps on your iPhone the apps you guard (as Screen Time tokens that only work on that device), your settings, your Moves and windows, your Bank, MiniScore, streak and badges, and your journal.

This data stays on your iPhone unless you create an account and turn on sync.

Screen Time

MiniMove uses Apple's Screen Time API, with the individual authorisation you grant yourself, to show a shield on the apps you choose. Apple gives MiniMove opaque tokens, not the content of your apps: MiniMove never sees your messages, your feed or what you watch.

Optional account and sync

An account is optional. You only need one for Squads and for the web dashboard, coming soon. You sign in with Apple, and you can hide your email address with Apple's private relay.

Sync starts only after you agree to it, on its own screen, and you can turn it off at any time. What syncs: your Move history (Moves, windows, daily totals, streak, badges), the labels you gave your guarded apps (for example “Instagram”) and, unless you keep it on your iPhone only, your journal, which is encrypted at rest on the server.

Synced data is stored with Supabase, in the European Union (Ireland).

Squads

If you join a Squad, its members see your nickname, your avatar and your weekly counts (Moves, skipped scrolls, calm days), side by side and without any ranking. They never see your guarded apps or your journal.

Camera Coach

The Camera Coach is optional and asks for the camera only when you turn it on, with an explicit notice at that moment. It counts your reps from camera frames processed in memory on your iPhone: nothing is recorded, stored or sent.

Apple Health

If you allow it, MiniMove writes glasses of water and mindful minutes to Apple Health and reads steps and heart rate. You choose each type in Apple's permission sheet, and a switch in the app, “Mini can read my Health data”, turns reading off.

Health data can help Coach Mini on your iPhone and on Apple's Private Cloud Compute (Apple's infrastructure, which does not store it). It is never synced to our servers or the web dashboard, never sent to third parties, never used for advertising and never sold.

Coach Mini and Apple Intelligence

Coach Mini writes its encouragements with Apple's on-device model. With MiniMove+, some Coach Mini features may run on Apple's Private Cloud Compute when your iPhone is eligible: the request goes to Apple's servers, is used only to answer, and is not stored.

MiniMove uses no other AI provider. Coach Mini reads your journal only when you ask it to.

Purchases

MiniMove+ is bought through the App Store. Apple processes the payment, and we never see your card details. The app checks your purchase with Apple; if you have an account, we also receive its status from Apple so the web dashboard can show it.

This website

The marketing pages of minimove.app set no cookies and have no forms. We count visits with Plausible, an analytics tool that uses no cookies and stores no personal data. The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard technical logs.

The one exception is the web dashboard: when you sign in, it sets strictly necessary cookies (Supabase Auth session cookies, first-party, named sb-…-auth-token) that keep you signed in. They hold no tracking data, are needed only for the dashboard and its sign-in page, and are removed when you sign out. The dashboard also has the only forms of the site: the sign-in page asks for your email only to send you a sign-in link, and the settings let you change the display name your squad sees.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can access, export, correct or delete your data, and object to or restrict its use. In the app, you export or delete your data in one tap; deleting your account deletes the data synced to our servers.

We rely on your consent for sync and for Health data, which you can withdraw at any time, and on our contract with you for MiniMove+. For any request, write to support@minimove.app. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

MiniMove is a wellbeing app. Moves, Coach Mini and scores are not medical advice; if you have a health condition, ask a professional.
