What is a Move?
A challenge of 90 seconds or less from one of four families: Body (10 squats), Breathe (box breathing), Mind (one gratitude) or Care (a glass of water). There are 46 Moves in total.
How long does an app stay open?
For the window you choose: 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes of real use (15 by default), capped at twice that on the clock. When it ends, the shield comes back on its own.
Can I pause MiniMove?
Yes. Chill pauses it for 15 minutes, an hour or the rest of the day. It is free once a day and unlimited with MiniMove+.
How do I turn MiniMove off?
Remove apps from your guarded list, or remove MiniMove's Screen Time access in Settings, and your apps open normally again. If you switched on the optional Strict mode, turning it off takes one Move and a 10-minute delay.
Can I cheat?
Technically, yes, and that is fine. MiniMove is a game played in good faith, not a surveillance tool: timers, taps, motion and the pedometer make Moves satisfying to finish, and the only person you would fool is you.

What does the Screen Time permission allow, and is it safe?
It lets MiniMove put a shield on the apps you chose, using Apple's Screen Time API. Apple gives MiniMove opaque tokens, not your app content, and those tokens never leave your iPhone. You can remove the permission in Settings at any time.
Which apps can MiniMove guard?
Any app you pick in Apple's app picker, such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, Facebook or X. The free version guards 3 apps; MiniMove+ guards as many as you like, plus websites in Safari.
Does it work on websites like instagram.com?
Yes, in Safari, with MiniMove+.
Is MiniMove parental control?
No. MiniMove is for people managing their own phone, with Apple's individual Screen Time authorisation. It is not designed for parents managing a child's device.
Can I use MiniMove with one sec or Opal?
You can, but two gates on the same app add friction. Pick one tool per app.

What if I can't do a Move?
Tap “I can't do this”: MiniMove swaps in another Move and stops suggesting that one. 15 of the 20 Body Moves have a seated version, and seated mode skips the other 5 Body Moves.
Can I use it in public?
Yes. Discreet mode picks an invisible Move in one tap, such as a breath, an intention check or calf raises.
Does it need my camera?
No. Moves are checked by a timer, taps, motion, the pedometer or your phone lying face down.
Does it work with Apple Watch?
Yes. You can do Moves and guided breathing from your wrist. Apple Watch verification is part of MiniMove+.
Is MiniMove a fitness or medical programme?
No. MiniMove is a wellbeing micro-habit app, with no medical claims and no calorie counts. If you have a health condition, ask a professional before trying new exercise, and skip any Move that does not feel right.

Do I need an account?
No. Everything works without an account. You only need one, with Sign in with Apple, for Squads and the web dashboard, coming soon.
What data leaves my iPhone?
None by default. If you create an account and turn on sync, your Move history and the labels you gave your guarded apps are synced for the web dashboard, coming soon. Screen Time tokens never leave the phone, and you can export or delete your data at any time.
Does MiniMove share my Apple Health data?
No. If you allow it, Coach Mini reads a few Health types to tailor its tips, on your iPhone or on Apple's Private Cloud Compute, which keeps nothing. Health data is never synced to our servers or the web dashboard, never sent to third parties and never used for ads.
What are the Bank and the MiniScore?
The Bank adds up everything you did: squats, calm minutes, glasses of water, skipped scrolls. The MiniScore is your daily score from 0 to 100.
What are Squads?
Small groups of 2 to 5 friends (up to 20 with MiniMove+): a weekly look at what your squad did, with high-fives — no ranking. There is no chat, and you get one notification a week. Squads need an account.

Is MiniMove free?
Yes. The core loop is free forever: guard up to 3 apps with 13 starter Moves and unlimited unlocks, no account needed. MiniMove+ adds all 46 Moves, packs, modes and full insights, and MiniMove never charges you to open an app.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Your monthly or yearly plan starts unless you cancel in your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the trial ends. MiniMove reminds you 2 days before.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases go through the App Store, so Apple handles refunds: you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Is there a lifetime option?
Yes: $119.99 or €129.99, paid once, with Family Sharing. There is no trial to cancel: the monthly and yearly plans are the ones with 7 free days.
Does MiniMove+ work with Family Sharing?
Yes, with the yearly and lifetime plans: everyone in your Apple Family Sharing group gets MiniMove+. The monthly plan is for one person.
Can I buy MiniMove+ on the website?
No. MiniMove+ is bought in the app, through the App Store, as Apple requires for digital subscriptions. The website only links to the App Store and never takes a payment.
Can I switch between the monthly and yearly plans?
Yes. Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and pick the other plan. Apple applies the change and shows you the next renewal date.
How do I get MiniMove+ back on a new iPhone?
Sign in with the same Apple Account and tap Restore purchases on the MiniMove+ screen. Your subscription or lifetime purchase comes back.

Which iPhones does MiniMove need? Is it on Android?
MiniMove needs an iPhone running iOS 26.5 or later. It is not available on Android yet.
How do I contact MiniMove?
